THREE (3) MORE YEARS FOR THE RTC

The Board of Directors of the PAD meet on Monday 27 July 2020 in its 91st session under the chairmanship of SHEY JONES YEMBE, has extended the mandate of the Administrative Unit in charge of the Container Terminal to 3 years renewable, as from 1st January 2021.   The Board of Directors of the PAD, after hearing the General Manager, and in accordance with government guidelines, has decided to extend the duration of the RTC. At the end of this session, the Board congratulated the General Manager of the PAD and the Deputy Director of the RTC for the results achieved during the first half of the 2020 fiscal year. The General Manager of the PAD was also fostered to pursue with determination the process of standardization, renovation and modernization of the Port platform in order to make it a catalyst for economic growth. Created on December 6, 2019, RTC successfully took over the management and operation of the Container Terminal after the end of the Douala International Terminal Concession.
