DREDGING : EFFECTIVE EMPOWERMENT

The suction dredger in operation with a well capacity of 3000 m3 acquired by the Port Authority of Douala from the world’s number 1 IHC has started sea trials before its transportation to Douala. This dredger will join the stationary dredger Beaver 50 acquired from the same manufacturer and already operational on the Wouri. This equipment has been acquired as part of the project for the empowerment of the dredging activity which is gradually being set up. This activity will now be managed by an Administrative Unit of the PAD. The second one after the one in charge of the Container Terminal. In addition to these two companies, there is also the Safety Company, which is currently being set up.
