A RELIEF AFTER 25 YEARS

The General Manager of PAD inaugurated this morning the new elevators of the Maritime Affairs Center Building housing the administrative services of the Douala Port Authority. The two lifts wich can contain up to 17 people (1275 kg), will serve the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 14th and 15th floors. These lifts, which have just been renovated and have been out of service for 25 years, will relieve the ports. Indeed, human resources are at the centre of the strategy of the General Directorate. For the past four years, it has been working every day to build capacity, improve the working conditions of employees and protect their health. According to Cyrus Ngo’o, investment in human resources is increasingly becoming one of the solutions that can enable an ambitious company to increase its productivity and enhance its competitiveness.
